while Michael talked with a friend of his who worked at the Museum about what other places he should take in on his San Francisco excursion. It was decided that the Berkeley Art Museum would be next on their itinerary. Before heading out on the BART for Berkeley (where Joel had just conveniently made dinner reservations at Chez Panisse), the lads strolled through Yerba Buena, a collection of buildings across from the museum. Yerba Buena features a moving memorial to Dr. Martin Luther King, whose dream of a colour-blind America seems as distant now as when Cat last lived in the US in 1968.
