Next, Cat walked over the Japanese Tea Garden, a remnant of the 1894 World's Fair and a place his uncles would have particularly enjoyed in 1906, as it was the draft for the Russo-Japanese war that drove them from their native St. Petersburg and brought them to San Francisco in the first place.

Also, the first place fortune cookies were served. A Japanese invention, not Chinese as most people think.
