index | previous | TI home | nextAfter his monstrous lunch and some study in the library, Cat took a cab over to the Palace of the Legion of Honor in order to be there before it closed. Cat's favourite painting is Joseph the Carpenter by George de la Tour, which unfortunately was in a wing of the Louvre that was closed when Cat and Fumiyo were in Paris in November, 2002. The intrepid feline was enchanted to discover 2 paintings by La Tour he'd never seen in the first room of the art museum he entered.
He returned to his hotel by bus for 1/20th the cost of the cab ride. What excellent bus service this city has, he thought. At the time.
