Fumiyo and Steph went on to Kagoshima, a city in the far south of Japan, to visit Fumiyo's friend, while Cat visited his friend in a suburb of Nagoya. He then went on to Yamagata City, in Northern Honshu. He had taught English there in the early 70s but had not seen the city since.

Just wanting to get out of the cold and into a hot cup of tea, Cat stumbled upon Obihachi. It's worth a trip to Yamagata to soak up its vibes.
