The reason the Ishikawas visited Cordoba in the first place was to see its amazing mosque, now turned into a strange combination of cathedral, museum of Cordoba's Visigoth history and enough sheer mosquery to rival the more famous Alhambra. From some vistas, it's like looking into infinity.
