France & Switzerland: Fall-Winter 2002 (28)index | previous | TI home
Cat wandered around imagining the stuff he was photographing was actually interesting.
In a bar next to Lyon Station, trying to stay out of the rain, Cat discovered Vin Chaud, which is the same mulled wine he often makes during the winter in Vancouver: hot red wine with sugar and spices, and hopefully orange peel. When Cat tried to order the same in a bar in Avignon, he was told that they could heat up some wine but it wouldn't be a Vin Chaud. If it had been Italy, they would have denied the existance of wine. Early the following morning, the Ishikawas took a bus to Barcelona.
