3. Porto (cont'd)

Porto seemed like a nice place. Looking for a hotel to spend the night in, the people at the bus station reccommended the Tuelo Porto but were worried it was too expensive for bus travellers like the Ishikawas. Actually it cost 1/4 as much as the Quintas. The part of Porto they were in had old statues surrounded by new buildings. The Ishikawas should have toured the old town, but instead spent the day at a modern mall that could just as well be in North Vancouver, and emailing folks back in North Van from the mall's cybercafe.
