The Ishikawas stayed at the West Harvest Inn, which they recommend. La Bodega Tapas Bar's raspberry borscht was an astonishment, a sudden road into raspberries picked at grandma's house in Canora half a century ago flowing into the 1905 revolution in reverse into the warmth of the Czar's embrace at birth in Mother Russia.
